Project Management Overview
Project Management Overview (PMO) consists of periodic evaluations of project
status during design, construction, or project start-up. An objective overview
by a group of specialists can provide valuable assessments before needless
expenditures are made. During the early design stages, PMO helps the Owner
achieve the building or facility function within budget limitations. Evaluations
are scheduled to meet the client's needs and objectives. The PMO team evaluates
project schedule compliance, change-order status, potential claims, project
documentation, inflammatory project issues, disputes over specification
interpretation, and construction quality. Usually on a monthly basis (but
customized to an Owner's specific needs and requirements), one or more of
CDG's staff visits the project site to review project status. CDG's clients
benefit from PMO because potentially major project issues are quickly resolved,
ensuring that work proceeds correctly and on time. |
